Chapter 1 : I hate him so much.
Gui Gui’s POV.
I’m still sleepy. I’m so tired from work last night. I know, I’m only a student yet I’m already working. We’re only poor, I admit it. Both my parents’ do not have stable job that’s why I need to work too or else we might not have food to eat. But I’m still lucky I got approved on the scholarship in this private school. I really want to finish my studies that’s why I’m working hard just for the scholarship. Sigh.
“Good morning class. I guess you all know that there would be a new transferee student here in our class. I guess you all know him, right? Please don’t shout too loud okay. Now please welcome, Mr. Aaron Yan Ya Lun.” The class got wild, except for me. As we all know, Aaron is the most famous teen idol here in Taiwan. All here in the class idolized him, except for me. I’m really not into him. Ugh.
“Erm. Excuse me, can you all please be in silence. I just want to say something.” Aaron said in a loud and clear voice. The whole class followed his command except for me, of course.
“Thanks. I know I’m the most famous teen icon in Taiwan. Erm.” He chuckled before continuing. “So, I want you guys not to stick with me always, okay? I hate oh-so-obsessed fans. So if you don’t want me to hate you, you already know what to do. Clear?” Aaron explained and grinned. Ugh. He’s so irritating.
The whole class nodded except for me. I don’t have the time to listen to his commands to us. And I really don’t know why people, especially the girls, are oh-so-obsessed with him. Can’t they see that they’re idol is arrogant, irritating, feeler and vain. Ugh. I don’t know why but I really do hate him, as in.
“Aaron, you’ll be sitting beside Ms. Gui Gui.” Ms. Miranda ordered. Omg. What did she just said?! Aaron Yan will sit beside me?! Oh no no no! That’s the worst nightmare ever. T_T
“Erm. Hello?” I heard Aaron said as he sat on the empty chair beside me. I ignored him. Can’t he see that I am too busy reading a book and yet he even dared to start a conversation with me. WTH.
“Hello miss?” He nudged me but still I ignored him. I really don’t want to talk to him. Ugh.
After a few minutes, Ms. Miranda started teaching a lesson about Cartesian Planes. I was listening attentively to her and taking some notes about the lesson when I suddenly felt Aaron nudging me again.
“Hey.” Aaron said softly as he threw a paper on me. I couldn’t control my temper. That’s too much!! One is enough, two is too much, three is dangerous. I really can’t take it. I shouted at him causing the whole class to look at me, “WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME, HUH?! YOU KEEP ON NUDGING AND CALLING ME FOR ALMOST THE WHOLE PERIOD! YOU ARE REALLY IRRITATING!” I shouted as loud as I can.
“Miss Gui Gui! Why did you shout? What’s the problem with Mr.Yan?” Ms. Miranda’s eyebrows furrowed. Uh-oh. I’m now dead meat. T_T
“Uhm. Miss, it’s nothing. He just keeps on nudging and calling me.” I said as I bowed my head. I turned red as a tomato feeling so embarrassed.
“Ugh! Apologize to Mr.Yan!” Ms.Miranda shouted. ‘Why do I have to?! Did I do something against him?! He’s the one who supposed to apologize to me! I shouted because of what he’s doing. Ugh!’
“But, he’s supposed to be the one to apologize to me!” I complained. When I looked at Aaron, I supposed he’s still shocked from what I did awhile ago.
“No more complaining. Just do it!” Ms.Miranda said in an angry voice. Oh no! I don’t want to do it!
“Ugh. Okay, I-I’m s-sorry!” I really can’t believe those words came out from my mouth! I really can’t believe I apologized to someone like him. A creepy smile crept onto his face.
“Good. Class ended, since there’s no more time and the bell has just rung so I guess I’ll just have to see you all tomorrow. Goodbye and thank you, class.” Ms.Miranda exited the room as the students followed.
“Hey you.” Aaron suddenly approached me. We’re the only one who’s been left on the room.
“What’s the matter again?!” I said groaning. I buried my face on my hands. What I did awhile ago was so embarrassing, I swear. I was like an idiot awhile ago, shouting very loud in the middle of class.
“Uhm. I’m sorry, that’s all. Bye.” I can’t believe Aaron would apologize to me. Before I could speak a word, Aaron was already gone, he’s so fast. I also went outside and directly to the cafeteria. I bought a food and sat on a table at the corner all by myself. Ever since this school year started, I was a loner. I really didn’t have friends here since last year. Actually I transferred here just last year. I started my Freshmen year in here. I really miss my classmates and friends in my old school. In my old school, I have lots of friends while here, even one, I really don’t have. I really want to have some, even only one.
Suddenly, a boy seated across me, “Hello there missy.” He smiled at me warmly. I know he’s my classmate but I can’t remember his name. I’m really not familiar with my classmates since I’m not that friendly here at school.
“Hi. What’s your name again? You’re my classmate right? I’m sorry I’m not familiar with your names.” I chuckled a bit and he laughed at me, “My name is Wang Zi. You are Gui Gui right?” He said with a smile.
‘Aww. You do have such a killer smile, Wang Zi. And your eyes, It’s so irresistible.’ I said on my mind.
“Oh, hi Wang Zi. And yeah, I’m Gui Gui.” I said smiling. I could really melt with his gaze.
“You’re the one who was scolded awhile ago, right? Because you suddenly shouted at Aaron.” Wang Zi laughed. Ugh. Nothing’s funny about it but he is laughing. Argh.
“Erm. Yes. What’s so funny about it, huh?” I said as I rolled my eyes on him. He laughed more.
“Nothing. I just thought you are so cute when you act like that.” Wang Zi said grinning widely at me. Aww. That’s so sweet of him. Suddenly, a smile that no one can notice formed on my lips.
“Thanks. I’m really flattered with your joke.” I said giggling. He’s just joking when he said that, right? I know he’s only joking yet I loved the way he said that. I really turned crimson red.
“No. Really. It’s not a joke.” He said, seriously this time. Whew. He’s really serious, huh.
“Is that so? Okay.” I just smiled at him as he winked at me.Uh-oh. I think I’m developing a slight feeling for him. But not crush or love, I’m just attracted to him. Especially with his eyes and killer smile. When he looks at me, I really feel like melting. I only felt percent feeling and I just really adore him.
“I noticed that you are always alone, huh. Can I join you every break? So you won’t be alone. I want to get to know you better. I found you a little interesting.” He said in a matter-of-factly tone. Gosh! He founds me interesting? Hmm. I think my feelings for him are already 2 or 3 percentage. Lol. He’s so kind and he is so sweet! XD
“You can say that I am a loner since I don’t have that so called friends. Btw, you could join me. Thanks because from now on I wouldn’t be alone. I really hope we would be good friends.” I grinned at him. At last, I’m about to have a friend now. :D
